today was so much fun! :D i got to see lizzie, eileen, aja, matt, jason, phil, christophe, and marvin. :D we pretty much spent the day working on cosplay and being fatties. i can't wait for otakon. ^^ i may be doing no more heroes cosplay as well, but that's still up in the air.
ANYWAY. i have to be up at like 5:30 tomorrow so i should get to sleepin'. <3
and who wants to buy me some white rocking horse shoes? :D

my wig came today. i was pretty surprised that it came so fast, especially with all the bad reviews i heard about that site. it's not quite what i thought it would be, but i'll make it work. :D i'm excited for otakon. i can't wait to have a weekend to hang out with everyone.
i've been making tons of plans this month, but everything just keeps falling through. unexpected emergencies, call-ins to work, other plans, etc. i'm not directing this at anyone, so don't take offense or anything, but i'm upset that i'm never able to see my friends anymore. it's very rare that i get days off, so when someone drops a plan it takes forever to reschedule. everyone's busy with their own jobs or what have you. i can't do spur of the moment things anymore. i ran into elle at candy world the other day and nearly cried when i saw her. we made plans and had to postpone them three times so far. i don't know when i'll see her next. i ran into pat at wegmans but i haven't had a day free to text him to hang. tomorrow i want to go see aja and eileen with lizzie, so i hope that pulls through. other than that, i think tj's having a party on sunday. i should be able to make it for at least two hours. next week i'm off thursday and friday. if anyone's free, pleeeease let me know.
i AM enjoying work however. i don't want it to sound like i'm dreading work because i never have chill time. i love my job more than a fat kid loves eating, so everything's great in that department.
orientation for school is on thursday, and i'm going to see the midnight x-files afterwards. :D i want to habeeb!

so i ordered this wig from perihair 15 days ago. i've been hearing tons of bad things about peihair, how for some it took a month and a half-two months to get to them and some had to work something out with the company for them to send another. i need it in about 2 1/2 weeks. i know that's still a ways to go, but i'm really freaking out. there's a wig from cosworx that's $30 that i'm really considering buying as a backup plan. if the other one comes, i could either try to sell it on the cosplay.com marketplace/lj community or i have 10 days from when i receive the wig to contact cosworx to return it as long as it's in its original packaging.

i'm beginning to think about going for the winter classes instead of fall. it's beginning to seem too soon for me, and i would like to work some more and build my financial cushion before jumping into college. anybody have advice for me?
also, i'm having a bit of a problem with otakon. i'm going, no doubt about it, but matt has been expressing interest in going too, and he's never been to a con so i thought this would be a great time to start. i already have a room with lizzie and the rest of the gang, but we can't take in anyone else, so i'm trying to help matt find a place to stay. he's considering making a post on the otakon community to see if anyone needs to take anyone in to help lower the cost. if that doesn't work, he may consider doing the whole staying in the car thing. whatever he decides to do, i don't want to leave him on his own for his first con, yet i don't want to bail on lizzie, especially after all the planning she's gone through for this. and of course, there is always the option of him not going. advice/ideas?
i think i've decided on my cosplay btw. >:D

today was so much fun! :D chad bought tickets for us to go to warped tour <3 mentionable artists were jack's mannequin, the academy is, mc chris, reel big fish, and say anything. :D we were there from about 11-8. I got sunburned BAD though.

2:50 am - day 5!

todayyyy we chilled with richard, eric, and lacey :D we went to chicken express and ventured over to incredible pizza, but it was $7.99 just to get in so we decided to chill in the parking lot for about 45 minutes and went over to celebration station which is a pretty awesome arcade. :D

we went to the mall today. their arcade is amazing. it had itg, percussion mastaa, iidx, dance maniax, AND space invaders. how awesome is that?

woooot. we watched silent hill afterwards and now we're chillin' at emilio's.
soo emilio's toilet broke earlier yesterday and last night i woke up at like 3am and had to pee. bad. soo i asked chad to give me directions to the nearest 24 hour place but he just ended up getting up and driving me to walmart. xD

suppp? i've been having fun so far. :) friday when i got here, brad (chad's brother), amy (chad's brother's girlfriend), thomas (friend), and chad (chad) picked me up from the airport. :D they dropped us off at chad's house and we chilled and i met his parents. we went to sonic later and i had a delicious bacon burger. :D we went over to emilio's place and he, richard and eric were uh, smoking weed, so chad and i went into the other room and watched the pest, which was a pretty rad movie. :D i conked out right after.
yesterday when we woke up we picked up brad and amy and took them to an auto part store because brad's car broke down. we went to some chicken fast food place and chilled at thomas' place for a while and watched ghostbusters. :D chad and i went thrifting a little while later which was awesome. there are like three all in the same shopping center. chad bought a nintendo. xD after thrifting chad and i drove over to to brad's house after picking up colton (who is like my clone btw, radiohead and evangelion obsessor. :D) and amy, thomas, and austin were all there too. we watched some futurama and went swimming at like 2am in his backyard xD it was awesome. around 4am we decided to go to ihop and get delicious pancakessss. <3 we came back around 530ish and watched more futurama. we all just kinda fell asleep eventually.
sooo that brings me to where i am now. it's actually 1:50 right now, since i'm an hour behind. i think we'll be arcading later or something.
it kinda sucks though because i have a cold. it's one of those coughs that feels like godzirra is coming out of your chest.

heyy livejournal. i just have a quick question to ask; who all is going to otakon?
in other news, life has been pretty simple around here. it's been all work and no play for me recently, but that's not really a bad thing i suppose. dan's been giving me different things to do. they've also upped my hours by about twice as much which makes me supaa happy. i had a really nice paycheck last week.
in two days i'll be leaving for texas. i'm sooo ridiculously excited, i pee my pants whenever i think about it. i'm going to warped tour and another local concert while i'm down there, not to mention awesome arcades in mesquite and chillin' like woah. TEN DAY VACATION YAAAY.
( this is chad btw. )
ANYWAY. i'm off to the tokyo showaah.

I have had SO much fun these past 5/6 days. I hope my summer turns out the same way.
friday was my graduation. i spotted my family as soon as i walked in, rofl.

after graduation, matt, his family, my family, and i all went to ihop. it was delicious. :D
THEN. came the after grad party, which was sooo awesome. there was gambling, obstacle courses, toilet-riding, dodge ball, hobo shelter-making, and tons of food. i won a 5 gallon jug of animal crackers because i guessed how many were in there, rofl.

then, saturday mike came over because it was his birthday! :D matt, marie, dumar, tommy, and i all gave him a wii! :D he freaked out.
around 6 i left for matt's (mcconnell) birthday party, which was awesome! i picked up elleka on the way and we dropped by candy world to get matt 5 pounds worth of candy. xD at the party we played brawl, cooking mama, and wario ware. then fil busted out this board game called catan. it's a really fun game, but i had to leave before it was over. :(

so i got back to matt's (mcgee) house by midnight, since my stuff was still over there from the ac going out. the rest of the gang was spending the night. i ended up being up until 2, and finally went to go sleep in the downstairs living room. xD i proceeded to wake up 3 hours later. i worked 7-1 on sunday. :p i was trained on how to sign the ad. after work i headed over to kat's house in faquier for her graduation party. sarah, bruce, james, cessna, and nikky (dominique) were all there too :D i got soaked in the water balloon fight, which eventually turned into a bucket of water fight. rofl. around 9 we set off some fire works, and i left around 10, since i had to be home by 11.
what happens at kat's house stays at kat's house.
sooo i'm finally home! i haven't been here for about 4 days. today matt and i were planning on going to kings dominion, but it's supposed to get up to 96 degrees today, and stay that way for about 4 hours. i'm not sure if i want to go anymore. :( i wanted to go to the water park.
edit: it was actually 100 degrees.

saturday, may 31st - work 10-4. dye roots. work on java programs. chill with matt.
sunday, june 1st - work 11:30-4:30. chillin' with shawn afterward.
monday, june 2nd - don't forget to bring textbooks to school. exams for 2nd and 4th. PROGRAMS DUE. SDKLSDKLF. pick up anime club shirts. work 4:30-close.
tuesday, june 3rd - no school. work 4:30-close
wednesday, june 4th - come into school at 9:30 for grad rehearsal. last anime club.
thursday, june 5th - come into school at 8:30 for grad rehearsal. senior picnic. work 4:30-close.
friday, june 6th - no school. graduation! after grad party from 11:30-5.
saturday, june 7th - matt's 17th birthday party at 6.
sunday, june 8th - kat's grad party at 2.
friday, june 13th - quite possibly tj's pool party.
saturday, june 14th - steve and kelly's wedding reception.
sunday, june 15th - 25% chance i'll be at ama.
june 27th-july 7th - TEXAS. :D

being sick is the worst thing ever. i can't stop sneezing and my nose is like a running faucet. :( i can't believe i went into school today. i did call off of work though. i'm most likely going to regret it later, but i really feel like poop.
apologies to everyone who took offense to my last post. i wasn't directing it at anybody, and i really didn't think anyone would take it so personally. i was just feeling pretty bad about myself, but i'm feeling pretty good now. i love all of you guys and know you care about me. <3
matt and i made a ton of cupcakes yesterday. take a look. :D
